BioI keep handwritten journals for my private life, so my LiveJournal is dedicated to my more public SCA and persona life. (My personal journals have the inscription: "If I should die before I wake, throw my journals in the lake.")
I am very involved in SCA performance arts, mostly storytelling and poetry reading, acting whenever I can, and singing. Since I am a born ham, I choose all of my pieces with an eye to the dramatic. I also love persona work because that fits right in with roleplaying, which fits right in with acting. My SCA persona is The Honorable Lady Caitlin Christiana Wintour, an Anglo Saxon lady by birth living in post-Conquest England of the early 12th century.
